Swarovski Live TV channel
We designed, created and managed the Swarovski TV website, which was the first site to feature live streaming at fashion shows. We also produced the majority of the video content from the site from the various divisions of Swarovski Communications in London.
We designed and built the website – allowing content producers to upload footage from anywhere in the world, much like YouTube! This was great for Swarovski who were producing the content from events around the world. The site was managed on a daily basis by the JPWTV team and went through many tweaks to keep it looking modern and to get the optimum out of the video quality.
It was where we streamed the first live fashion TV from London in Autumn 2007. We also went on to live stream several Alexander McQueen and Hussien Chalayan shows. The site featured shows from London, Paris and New York fashion week as well as other arts events sponsored by the company. It attracted an audience of 100,000 hits a week during it’s peak.
The site was then moved over to he companies headquarters in Austria and modelled on the way we set up and allowed people to upload content onto the site, a first in online TV corporate channel.
